I kind of like it, but if I am going to put a new thing on every single book in my library, I kind of prefer RFID since it can be multipurpose. Still, the idea that a lot of the tedium could be taken out of shelfreading IS appealing.

I tend to agree. I was actually thinking that with RFID combined with a 3d model ofthe library- assuming the rfid also carried the dimensions of the item- you could do this virtually. I mean integrating the rfid into a map of the library that overlays the image in the ap.
