I once worked at a library on a hilltop in Colorado reached by driving a winding road. After my night shift, my headlights weren’t working, so I had no choice except to sleep in the library until daylight. Fortunately, I had a foam pad and sleeping bag in my vehicle, so I slept in relative comfort on the ramp to the non-fiction section. This reminded me of that night (and of the movie, The Terminal).
