"would use the $50,000 to purchase Library of Congress catalog records" should perhaps read "re-purchase" since, as taxpayers, we've all paid for them once already. (Not PSU per se, or many of our libraries, since we're generally tax exempt, but "us" in the global sense). I know, I know... there aren't enough catalogers, someone has to pay, etc. I can't wait to try out WPopac though. I have a nice set of MARCXML records all set and a WP server all set up.
